Ira Zunin, MD, MPH, MBA, President and CEO
Ira has extensive experience in healthcare and has been actively engaged in offering healthcare consulting services for over 15 years. He is a medical doctor with broad expertise in a range of healthcare environments, including conventional medicine, integrative medicine, and complementary and alternative medicine. Ira is a frequent lecturer both nationally and internationally on a variety of healthcare topics ranging from industry developments in healthcare to practice management and business strategy. He also offers broad expertise in areas that include pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, global business development and networking, and health and wellness tourism.

In addition to his role at Global Advisory Services, Dr. Zunin currently serves as President of the Hawaii State Consortium for Integrative Healthcare, and Medical Director of the Manakai O Malama Integrative Healthcare Group and Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He earned an MD from UCLA School of Medicine, a Master's in Public Health from the University of Hawaii, and an Executive MBA from the University of Hawaii.

Roger received his BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He earned his law degree with Honors from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as an editor of the Georgetown Law Review.

Brad Jacobs, MD, MPH, Senior Manager
Brad was the Founding Medical Director of Clinical Programs for the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of California-San Francisco. As Founding Medical Director, he was responsible for all aspects of the clinical development, from building the clinical model, to developing medical programs, to hiring and managing the clinic team. The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine continues to operate as one of the leading integrative healthcare centers in the U.S.

Brad is a medical doctor with broad expertise in internal medicine, and employs a combination of conventional medicine, integrative medicine, and complementary and alternative medicine in his practice. He serves as assistant clinical professor for the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and is the Director of the Inpatient Integrative Medicine Consult Service at Mount Zion/UCSF Hospital.

He earned an MD from Stanford University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of California-Berkeley.

Michael Gardner, MBA, Senior Manager
Michael contributes an extensive background in healthcare and business consulting. Prior to his work with Global Advisory Services, he worked for eight years in strategy and operations consulting at Arthur Andersen in Boston, Massachusetts and the Lucas Group in Waltham, Massachusetts. His work focused in a variety of industries including healthcare, high tech manufacturing, and distribution. Michael has also served as Director of Operations for Manakai O Malama Integrative Healthcare Group and Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and co-founded and operated two successful high technology ventures.

Michael offers particular expertise in strategic planning and development, financial analysis and forecasting, business development, IT system selection and implementation, and operations management. He earned a BA from Dartmouth College and an Arthur Anderson-sponsored MBA from Boston University.

Erik Kloninger, MBA, Senior Manager
Erik has worked in tourism management consulting and marketing for over ten years. He spent seven years in the Hospitality & Leisure practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in Honolulu, Hawaii as a Managing Associate. At PWC, Eric directed teams of project consultants on major tourism and hospitality engagements for private sector clients as well as government agencies. He has worked on projects in Hawaii, the mainland US, and internationally.

Erik’s initial exposure to tourism issues was as a consultant at PKF-Hawaii, where his duties included variety of projects in the Hawaii hospitality market. He began his career at ADWorks, a Honolulu based advertising agency. Eric earned a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

Elizabeth Churchill, Senior Manager
Beth offers particular expertise in strategic development and marketing. She worked as a consultant for several years at Chiat/Day/Mojo and Grey Advertising in New York City before moving to Hawaii to serve as Regional Director at Reed Travel Group (RTG), the world's largest travel publishing company. At RTG, Beth's responsibilities included strategic planning and development, and overseeing all sales and marketing activities for the Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

Beth has also served as Executive Director for the Hawaii State Consortium for Integrative Healthcare, and as International Sales and Marketing Manager at the USS Missouri Memorial Association in Honolulu. Beth earned a BA from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.
